Транскатетерная артериальная эмболизация как метод хирургического лечения и профилактики кровотечений из верхних отделов желудочно-кишечного тракта

Представлен обзор литературы по использованию транскатетерной артериальной эмболизации в лечении острых кровотечений из верхних отделов желудочно-кишечного тракта. Показано, что данный метод может быть альтернативой хирургическим операциям, особенно у больных пожилого возраста с тяжелой коморбидной патологией и нестабильной гемодинамикой. Кроме того, с учетом возникновения рецидивов кровотечения после эндоскопического гемостаза артериальная эмболизация является эффективной профилактической мерой для предупреждения повторного кровотечения. Преимуществами метода также являются небольшая частота осложнений, низкая летальность и возможность повторного применения.
